Summer Reading Is Here!

We’ve got plenty of the Mayor Byron Brown Summer Reading Challenge books on hand and ready to go! Also, stop by the Front Desk to pick up a Library Reading Log to earn additional prizes, and if you happen to owe any fees, you may be eligible to Read Down Your Fines, info here!

Make Some Noise! We’ll provide supplies and Mr. Paul will help you create your very own instruments! Supplies Limited, please call to register.

The East Clinton Book Club will be meeting to discuss "The Wife Between Us" by Hendricks & Pekkanen.

Ice Cream Party!

Celebrate all of that hard work you put into Summer Reading and join us for a fantastic Ice Cream Party with all the toppings, as we Thank You for a wonderful summer! Registration required.


Friday August 17th — 4:00pm

Hula Hoop Party!

Join presenter Ben Berry for a night of hula hooping, crafting, and fun! Every attendee will choose and decorate a hula hoop, and then learn the basics of hooping and even have a dance party! Registration is LIMITED to 10 attendees, please stop in or call us to sign up today!

Family Craft Night—Libraries Rock!

For this all ages craft night we’ll be painting rocks, because…...Libraries Rock!!

Borrowed materials can be returned to any Buffalo & Erie County Public Library or renewed online at through our online catalog, after you have logged under "My Account".


Library patrons can also visit the library 24/7 online at to maintain & manage accounts, download books, music and video, use the databases, research and more!

Library System Information on the Board of Trustees

The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System Board of Trustees is the governing body for the downtown Central Library, and the eight branch libraries located in the city of Buffalo. These include: Crane, Dudley, East Clinton, East Delavan, Frank E. Merriweather, Jr., Niagara, North Park and the Riverside Branch Libraries.
