June Happenings
 
Father's Day Cookie Decorating - Saturday, June 16th at 11 am
Children ages 4-12 are invited to decorate some cookies to present to Dad on Father's Day.  We'll also have our button-maker out for creating a button or magnet for Dad.  Call the library to register.
 
FREE Computer Training - Thursday, June 14th, 4pm-7pm
Sign up for a one-on-one session with a computer trainer.  Learn the skills you need at your own pace.  Space is limited.  Sign up today!
 
Summertime Story Time - Wednesdays at 10:30am (June 20th - July 25th)
Stories, songs, fingerplays and a simple craft.
 
Rocking with Pete the Cat - Thursday, June 21st at 6 pm
Stories, songs, and games with everyone's favorite groovy guy.  Ages 3-6.  Registration is required.
 
Rock Yourself Into Puffy Paint - Thursday, June 28th at 6 pm.
Listen to music ... Express yourself with paint.  Ages 6-10.  Registration is required.
 
Button Making Thursdays - Every Thursday 4:30 - 5:30
Stop by and turn your thoughts and creativity into a one-of-a-kind button.  Limit 3 buttons per week.
 
Read Down Your Fines (June 2nd - September 15th)
Children up to age 17 are given the chance to Read Down Your Fines at the Library this summer.  Ask Staff for details.

Riverside Library's Summer Reading Program begins June 23rd and runs through August 18th.  We'll have weekly prizes and AWESOME Grand Prizes.  Ask Staff for Details.
 
Spring Cleaning?  Friends of the Riverside Library is seeking donations of your used books, media and magazines for its sale in August.  ‚Äč

Applications are now available in Arabic, Burmese, Karen & Somali language versions at the Library.

Youth and Adult library card applications are available in large print at the Library.

Library System Information on the Board of Trustees

The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System Board of Trustees is the governing body for the downtown Central Library, and the eight branch libraries located in the city of Buffalo. These include: Crane, Dudley, East Clinton, East Delavan, Frank E. Merriweather, Jr., Niagara, North Park and the Riverside Branch Libraries. 

All System Board of Trustee meetings and committee meetings are open to the public
