Summer Story Time
Wednesdays at 10:30 am (June 20th - July 25th) 
Ages 2 & up.  Stories, songs, and a simple craft to take home.
 
Make Your Own Keychain - Saturday, July 7th at 12 noon
Our Button-Maker can make keychains, too!  Check it out!  Kids 5 and up.
 
Nickel City Reptiles & Exotics - Saturday, July 14th at 12 noon.  Fun for all ages.  See animals from all over the world.
 
Make Your Own Terrarium (with Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens) - Saturday, July 21st at 12 noon.  Ages 5 & up.  Registration is required.  Rescheduled for August 25th at 12 noon.
 
Paint a Treasure Box - Saturday, July 28th at 12 noon.  Create a one-of-a-kind box for all of your treasures!  Ages 5 & up.  Registration is required.
 
The Wondermakers present Rockin' Rabbit and Other Stories. - Saturday, August 4th at 12 noon.  Mime, humor, songs, stories and lots of audience participation.  All Ages Fun!!  
 
Ice Cream Social - Saturday, August 18th at 12 noon.  Celebrate the end of summer at our Ice Cream Social.  We'll also be drawing for Summer Reading Grand Prize winners.
 
Button Making Thursdays - Every Thursday 4:30 - 5:30
Stop by and turn your thoughts and creativity into a one-of-a-kind button.  Limit 3 buttons per week.
 
Read Down Your Fines (June 2nd - September 15th)
Children up to age 17 are given the chance to Read Down Your Fines at the Library this summer.  Ask Staff for details.

Riverside Library's Summer Reading Program begins June 23rd and runs through August 18th.  We'll have weekly prizes and AWESOME Grand Prizes.  Ask Staff for Details.

Applications are now available in Arabic, Burmese, Karen & Somali language versions at the Library.

Library System Information on the Board of Trustees

The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System Board of Trustees is the governing body for the downtown Central Library, and the eight branch libraries located in the city of Buffalo. These include: Crane, Dudley, East Clinton, East Delavan, Frank E. Merriweather, Jr., Niagara, North Park and the Riverside Branch Libraries. 

All System Board of Trustee meetings and committee meetings are open to the public
